Examining these datasets, we find that HCC patients with high serum AFP levels (Fig 4E) or high tissue AFP expression (HpSC subtype in Fig 4F) exhibit lower tumor GSH abundance than those with low serum or tissue AFP (correlation between GSH abundance and MYC expression in MH and HpSC subtypes in Fig EV5A and B)
