Description
In female mice from this strain some evidence of carcinogenicity was found in terms of hepatocellular adenoma and carcinoma (combined)
it can also impair fetal renal perfusion as early as the second trimester, producing oligohydramnios and neonatal renal insufficiency
Group I: normal control, group II: 5-FU-treated (150 mg/kg b.w.), group III: 5-FU-treated (150 mg/kg b.w.) + TQ (lower dose) (50 mg/kg b.w.), and group IV: 5-FU-treated (150 mg/kg b.w.) + TQ (100 mg/kg b.w.)
