People buy them for a few common reasons: testing a deck before spending real money casual Commander where everyone agrees proxies are fine protecting expensive originals by keeping the real cards at home building cubes or teaching decks without needing duplicates of staples Proxy King also makes it clear (on product pages) that these are unofficial proxies and not for use in Wizards-sanctioned events

Hitting Scroungers, Haunted Dead, Prized Amalgam, Ovalchase Daredevil, and Kozileks Return is basically all we want to do and Im willing to support all of these pieces with a few scraps like Corpse Churn

This card is utterly useless in 99% of Commander decks, but not this one
