Much like a Monet or Picasso artwork, Pokmon cards cant be split into smaller denominations, which makes them impractical for everyday transactions
A recent survey among a community of collectors showed that 53% of occasional collectors own at least one graded card , and 94% of confirmed collectors (over 2 years of active collecting) have graded cards in their collection
